Founder
Head Coach Galera brings over 25 years of experience teaching capoeira and gymnastics alongside his 10+ years in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. His unique capoeira background sets him apart, bringing fluid movement, rhythm, and acrobatic elements to his teaching. As a world-class BJJ competitor and dedicated instructor, his passion for martial arts has made Studio Galera a top training facility in West Cork.

Shane Carmody is a talented young competitor and instructor who's achieved remarkable success in both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts at just 20 years old. His competition experience and technical knowledge make him a brilliant role model for young students.
Stuart Carmody
BJJ Instructor
Stuart Carmody is an accomplished grappler and BJJ practitioner who excels in both training and competition. At 19, he's already achieved class championship status as a purple belt, bringing youthful energy and modern techniques to his teaching.
