FAQ
Common Questions
Is this course suitable for kids?
This course is for adults only. If you're looking for classes for a younger one, our BJJ Kids or BJJ Teenagers programmes are a great fit. You can book a trial class anytime.
Do I need any experience?
Not at all. This course is designed for complete beginners with zero martial arts experience. Our coaches will guide you through everything from day one.
What gear is included?
A gi (the traditional BJJ uniform) is included in the price. Just bring comfortable clothes to change into and a water bottle.
What happens after the course?
After completing the course, you'll be ready to join our regular BJJ Fundamentals or BJJ All Levels classes. We'll help you find the right membership to continue your training.
What's the difference between Gi and No-Gi?
In Gi BJJ, you wear a traditional uniform (gi) and can use it for grips and techniques. No-Gi is done in rashguard and shorts, with a faster pace and more wrestling-based movements. Both are brilliant for beginners.
What courses are coming up?
BJJ Beginners Course - No-Gi starts Tuesday 26 May 2026. Registration opening soon.
