What You'll Learn
Basic Positions
Mount, guard, side control, back control, and the fundamental defensive positions. You'll learn how to achieve and maintain these positions.
Essential Escapes
How to escape from bad positions and return to a neutral or advantageous position. These are the foundation of defensive BJJ.
Core Submissions
Basic chokes and joint locks that every BJJ practitioner should know. You'll learn when and how to apply them safely.
Movement Fundamentals
How to move efficiently on the mats, including shrimping, bridging, and proper positioning. These movements form the basis of all BJJ technique.
Takedowns & Throws
Basic takedowns to bring the fight to the ground safely and effectively. Essential for self-defense and competition.
Rolling Basics
Controlled sparring at a beginner-appropriate pace. You'll learn how to apply techniques in realistic scenarios while staying safe.
